A Philosophy

How to Live

  1. Conformity is a wasted life.
  2. Nothing has priority in poor health. A long time means more than a good time. Think about your children.
  3. Read more. There is no ceiling. There are no diminishing returns.
  4. Watch less bullshit. Read more fiction. Read more philosophy.
  5. Work hard. Work harder than you play. Work much harder than you play.
  6. Build foundations as fast as possible. Revising has less friction. Starting new invites procrastination.
  7. Meet new people. Talk to as many people as possible. Maintain relationships. Reach out. Never burn bridges.
  8. Maximize time thinking. Thought is what differentiates man from beast.
  9. The cold email is the great equalizer.
  10. Everyone is suffering. Isolation is an illusion.
  11. At its core, every human interaction is an exchange of value. Someone selling, someone buying. Master sales.
  12. Slope trumps y-intercept. Passion outshines talent.
  13. Time truly does heal all wounds.
  14. Smile more.
  15. Don’t make enemies. This is real life, not Hollywood.
  16. Humans have an incredible capacity to adapt.
  17. Be grateful. The life you have is one much of the planet would dream of.
  18. Engage more with death and wasted time. We are sauntering down a one-way highway.
  19. This is the easiest generation for success.
  20. Seek immortality.

Life is meaningless. Camus triumphs in his absurd. Yet don’t disregard all the above. Absurdity demands you live even harder. Simply, proceed with caution.
